Ashton is the Vice President of Sales for Griffin Insurance. Griffin Insurance Agency was founded by Mike Griffin in 1978. We have offices in Mooresville, Statesville, Denver and Lincolnton. We are locally owned and operated.

Ashton is the recipient of numerous awards, including: 1999 Regional Crown Award for excellence as the #1 Mass Marketing Producer in the Southern Region; 2-time Liberty Leaders Award recipient for exceptional personal lines production and Life Insurance Sales. Agent of the year for Griffin Insurance Agency, multiple years. Top Producing Personal and Commercial sales Rep since 2004. Recognized multiple years as one of the top Nationwide Associates for the state of North Carolina.
Born and raised in Iredell County, he has life-long experience with the Iredell county/Lake Norman market.
As a 1992 Gradute of Davidson College, he received a BA degree in History and served as Captain of the football team. He then worked in Personal Lines sales for Liberty Mutual from 1994-2003. On Jan 1, 2004, he joined Griffin Insurance and Nationwide.
He provides personal and commercial risk management. His 16 years of experience with auto, home, life and commercial insurance allows him to provide the highest level of consultative services. More that just a quote- He enjoys sharing his years of knowledge as an experienced consultant.
